My name is Barbara Kotula. I am a psychotherapist, and I work with adults who long to move beyond inner limitations and build deep, meaningful relationships – both with themselves and with others.
I believe that true healing begins when we feel safe and are seen as we truly are. That is why, in my work, the most important aspect is the human-to-human connection – an attentive, authentic relationship where there is space for your story, your emotions, and for attuning to what is alive within you here and now, without the need to relive painful events from the past.
My work and therapeutic approach have been shaped not only by my psychology studies and professional training, but also by my experiences living in Norway. Here, surrounded by nature, I experience how powerful an ally the connection with nature and our own body is in the healing process.

A holistic, process-oriented psychotherapeutic approach that gently supports healing from relational and developmental trauma. NARM focuses on what is alive within you here and now, helping you reconnect with yourself, your emotions, and your sense of authenticity.
A method that supports the natural processing of painful memories, recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO). EMDR helps complete unresolved trauma responses and restore a sense of inner calm and integration.
Regardless of the method, at the heart of my work is the wisdom of your body. Many years of experience in somatic work have taught me how deeply our emotions and experiences are stored in bodily tensions. This allows me to support you in tuning into what your body is trying to communicate, helping to release blocked energy and reconnect with the fullness of your feelings and life force.
My professional path is shaped not only by certificates but also by years of individual practice, enriched by experience gained in settings where human stories require the greatest sensitivity – psychiatric hospitals, mental health centers, and counseling clinics. These experiences have taught me attentiveness and deep respect for each person’s unique journey.
If you feel ready to take a step toward change, I invite you to choose the form that feels most meaningful to you right now – individual sessions, meetings in nature, or a women’s gathering. Discover which path can become your first step toward something new.
I work with people who feel lost in relationships and self-criticism, helping them gradually regain trust in themselves and the sense that they are enough.
